"subheadline": "Buy It Here connects shoppers with local stores through city guides and shopping-topic websites. Follow its Jacksonville launch to see how a new network gets found.",
"summary": "[Buy It Here](https://buyithere.us/) is a local shopping network that helps people find stores for the things they need. Its national home connects shoppers to city guides, starting with [Jacksonville](https://jax.buyithere.us/) and its shopping-topic websites.\n\nIt launched with Digital Karma already installed, so we can follow discovery from its earliest days.\n\nThe national site and Jacksonville shopping network launched November 4. Pets joined on November 5; this baseline is dated November 6.",
"plain_english": "BellyUp! helps people decide where to eat and go out. Buy It Here helps people decide where to shop.\n\nThey share operating lessons, but Buy It Here is a separate brand and network. Its content and audience measurements stay separate too.\n\nWe are following how quickly the new shopping pages are requested, appear in search and lead to recorded shopper actions. Each stage gets its own result.",
"context": "The [BellyUp! progress report](https://www.realseolife.com/case-study/digital-karma-bellyup-discoverability-progress) starts with a growing network that already has history. Buy It Here starts close to launch.\n\nThat makes it a better place to preserve the starting conditions. It does not make it an untreated comparison group: Buy It Here also began with v8.2.\n\nThe national site introduces the brand. Jacksonville is the first city, with shopping topics for:\n\n- Furniture\n- Thrift\n- Hardware\n- Appliances\n- Auto parts\n- Pets",
"methodology": "### The November 6 Buy It Here baseline\n\nWe read the current public crawl receipts for the national site and Jacksonville hub. All six shopping-topic sites are included too.\n\nAll eight hosts have protocol version 8.2 and passing full-sitemap receipts. Together they cover 55 canonical pages.\n\nThe chart links to each exact receipt. The [public baseline record](https://www.realseolife.com/data/case-studies/buy-it-here-digital-karma-launch-baseline.json) preserves those per-host counts and dates because live receipts can change as the network grows.\n\n### The next Buy It Here readings\n\nThe first result to preserve is the earliest observed successful canonical content request by crawler purpose. First observed means first in retained logs, not necessarily the first request that ever happened.\n\nWe will then check the first imported Google impressions and clicks. Only page URLs belonging to their exact host will count.\n\nA missing source window stays unavailable. Shopper actions belong in another reading when collection is active and verified.\n\nThe next planned read is November 20, using the latest complete dates available then. Future checkpoints should mark new shops and network changes beside the results.",
"findings": "All 55 canonical launch pages passed the current v8.2 checks.\n\nThat gives the new network a checked discovery foundation from the beginning. The result comes from full-sitemap receipts, not the existence of a manifest alone.\n\nWe have not published a post-launch search growth claim. The imported Google source stops before launch, and no empty row is being presented as a measured zero.\n\nThis is the launch baseline for an ongoing case study. Future readings will add observed outcomes while preserving the starting numbers.",
"key_takeaway": "Buy It Here gives us a new network to watch from the start. BellyUp! gives us an older network to keep measuring.\n\nThe two reports answer different timing questions. Neither is an experiment with the protocol turned off.\n\nThe [AI Digital Karma progress article](https://www.aidigitalkarma.com/article/digital-karma-progress-bellyup-discoverability/) connects the portfolio strategy. The [Digital Karma Web report](https://www.digitalkarmaweb.com/knowledge-base/digital-karma-v82-bellyup-progress) explains what the implementation checks establish.\n\n[Follow the AISymantix tracking tables](https://www.aisymantix.com/case-studies/digital-karma-network-discovery/) for the warehouse readings as post-launch dates become available. This page keeps the November 6 starting numbers."
